In the face of calls to suspend the Oly Police Chief and the continued drudging up of claims of assault and misconduct by the OPD in response to protesters who were warned then forcefully removed from blocking the Port of Olympia...
I left Olyblog a little gift
I had been playing nice, not commenting, watching, reading, and being patient with kid gloves on.
But it’s Monday morning and I'm wondering when the madness will end.
I will be preparing my letter to the Olympia Police Department thanking them for doing their jobs this morning and publishing it on this blog later.
If you support the OPD, I would ask you to do the same.

The OPD did not throw concrete, dumpsters and garbage in the road, the OPD did not block an onramp to the I-5, the OPD did not create this situation. They reacted in a manner that is consistent with what we pay them to do... keep the people and property of Olympia safe.

Funny, no one in the sign looks like the "pro-OPD" people I've seen in pictures and videos. In fact, it looks suspiciously like a pro-labor sign. You know...one of those socialist groups"

I'm sure this person would be against any kind of 'profiling' but does it to others with out a single thought.
You're doing great. You haven't posted anything that wasn't true. I can't believe the gall of these people, both the protesters and their middle-aged enablers.
First, they said there was no danger when those women sat their children down in front of the truck. Then, after I was offended by their insistence at comparing themselves to the Chinese Students of Tiannemin Square or the African-Americans of the Lunch Counter Protests and I pointed out that those people went into their protests knowing full well they could be killed, I was told that Olympia's whiny protesters knew full well they could be killed too...after all they sat in front of a truck.
Whichever hole they blow it out of doesn't matter, they're full of crap. As I mentioned on what's more and more becoming "that God-awful blog" Justification is easy if you have it both ways and liberally sprinkle it with lies.
